Cola Pot Roast

1 ea (3 1/2 - 4 1/2 lb) boneless bottom round roast

2-3 Polish sausage links - cut into small 1/2 inch pieces

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black powder

1/2 tsp garlic powder

4-6 carrots - peeled and cut into small pieces

1 large onion - cut into half moons

1 (12 oz) can of cola (Coke, Shasta, etc.)

1 (12 oz) bottle Heinz Chili Sauce

1 tblsp Worchestershire sauce

2 tblsp hot pepper sauce

Sprinkle the salt, pepper, and garlic powder evenly over the entire roast. Place the roast into a 6-quart slow cooker (crock pot). Place the carrots and onion

around the roast.

In a medium bowl, combine the remaining ingredients, mix well , then pour over the roast.

Cover and cook on a low setting for 7-8 hours, or until fork-tender. Slice and served with the sauce and vegetables.

(Note: I sometimes substitute the roast with county style ribs. Regardless the meat used it is um, um, good!)
