Davey Lee McBrayer

1930-2010

Very little is known at this time of Davey's passing. The following was from his sister, Shirley Sue Machado, via email:

"I'm assuming you have been notified of Davey Lee's passing away, because you correspond with Tim, his son. I was able to travel by train to Redding (CA) and spend a week with Davey while he was in the hospital. We had gotten him home on a monday and I left for Bakersfield on Wednesday night. He passed the next Tuesday, May 25th. His service was June 3rd in Redding.

Additional information provided by Robert L. McBrayer:

I did find him listed in the database for The Perishable Foods Council of Northern California/Nevada. He had Davey's AM/PM Mini Market and the address is 5150 Chum Creek Road, Redding, CA. It apparently is also a gas station. His home address is listed on another site as 4753 White River Drive, Redding, CA 96003. His wife Mona is shown in a listing. Both his sons are listed in Redding.
