HOPE--Mrs. ESTHER McBRAYER STUART JORDAN, 90, of Hope, died Saturday, November 13, 2010, at a local rehabilitation center. She was born in Murfreesboro, on February 11, 1920, to Flave and Nettie Canster McBrayer.
She was a former waitress for Diamond and Checkered Café, an LPN Nurse and member of Unity Baptist Church in Hope.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Mack Stuart and John Bill Jordan; three brothers, her twin Jack McBrayer, Parks McBrayer and Tilman McBrayer; two sisters, Ruby Stone Moore and Stella Long.
Her survivors include one daughter, Shirley White, of Dallas, Texas and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends on Monday, November 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday, November 16, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home chapel in Hope, with Rev. Glen Tropp and Rev. Jay Pollan officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hope. Arrangements are by Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope.
