FLORENCE "KATHRYN" McBRAYER ARNOLD, 83, of Tifton, formerly of Albany, died Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at Golden Living Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 21, 2010, at Pineview Holiness Baptist Church. Bro. Tony Haefs, Bro. Silas Carver and Bro. Dan Eidson will officiate with burial to follow in Pineview Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery. Grandsons and nephews serving as pallbearers will be Jonathan Arnold, Brett Willis, Trent Willis, Michael Smith, Andy Gill, Mark Gill, Tony McBrayer, Kenny McBrayer and Scott McBrayer. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 20, 2010, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service. The family will meet at the home of Glenn McBrayer at 8 Revels Road, Tifton, GA 31793.

Mrs. Arnold was born on November 30, 1926 in Tift County and was the daughter of Loomis McBrayer and Nina Arrington McBrayer, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Melvin McBrayer, Hubert McBrayer and Clyde McBrayer. She was a retired office manager.

Mrs. Arnold is survived by her husband of 65 years, Fred G. Arnold of Tifton; one son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Pat Arnold of Douglasville; one daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and Bruce Trammell of Midland; five grandchildren, Tiffany and Jonathan Arnold of Douglasville, Bret Willis of Ellerslie, Trent Wills and Amanda Trammell, both of Midland; four great grandchildren, Kayla Arnold, Jamison Arnold and Hunter and Hayden Willis; five brothers, Loyd McBrayer of Douglasville, Elbert McBrayer, Glenn McBrayer, Troy McBrayer and Royce McBrayer, all of Tifton; and two sisters, Louise Smith of Cairo and Faye Roberts of Tifton.
