Freddie Mae McBrayer Jones

1933-2011


Freddie Mae Jones, age 78 of Calhoun, passed away Wednesday morning, November 2, 2011 in Gordon Health Care.

Freddie was born February 8, 1933. Daughter of the late Julius Caesar and Fannie Mae Watson McBrayer. Freddie was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by five brothers; Billy, John, Glenn, George, and Sam McBrayer.

Survivors include; Her husband, Paul F. Jones. Two sons; Rudy Jones and his wife Jackie of Ballground and Andy Jones and his wife Liz of Marietta. Two daughters; Paula Edwards and her husband Wesley of Calhoun, and Julia Schelb and her husband Fred of Canberra, Australia. One sister, Rozelle Carroll of Newnan. Ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, November 4th at 10:30a.m. from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Dr. Terrell McBrayer officiating. Burial will follow in the Georgia Memorial Park in Marietta at 2:00p.m.

The family will receive friends Thursday, November 3rd from 5:00 - 8:00p.m. at the funeral home.
