Resided In: Corning, California
IDA McBRAYER A graveside service will be held at the Paskenta Cemetery at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September, 24, 2010 for Ida Dale McBrayer. She passed away at her residence surrounded by her family.
Ida was born February 10, 1915 to Joe & Alice Arterbury in Hope, Arkansas. On January 25, 1932 she married Clarence Tillman McBrayer. In 1946 they moved from Louisiana to Paskenta. In 1953 they moved to Corning. She has lived at the same residence ever since. Clarence preceded her in death in August 29, 1987. She enjoyed fishing, quilting, sewing, canning, gardening and taking care of her family. She is survived by four children; Willie Joe McBrayer, Doris Branham, Mary Ruth Hall and Richard McBrayer, 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Memorial Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of Newton-Bracewell Funeral Home, 680 Camellia Way, Chico, CA 95926.
