JOHN CHARLES McBRAYER of Bremen, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2010. He was born in Haralson County, June 29, 1926, son of the late Juluis C. McBrayer and Annie Watson McBrayer. Mr. McBrayer was a retired employee of the Atlanta Airport Security and a U.S. army veteran, having served twenty plus years in the military.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William T. McBrayer.
Survivors include sisters, Mattie Rozelle Carroll of Carrollton and Freddie Mae Jones of Calhoun.
Services will be Saturday, May 1 from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Dr. Terrell McBrayer officiating. Music will be furnished by Harold McWhorter. Terry McBrayer, Van McBrayer, Henry McBrayer, Jack Smith, Gary Smith, Billy Green and Paul Smith will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Buchanan City Cemetery.
