Leota Hummingbird McBryear, 83, of Dalton, Ga., died on Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010 at Hamilton Medical Center.

She was the daughter of the late George and Mae Hummingbird; and was also preceded in death by a son, Wayne McBryear; sister, Wynona Thomason; and a brother, Don Hummingbird.

Leota was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Terry McBryear of Dalton; sister-in-law, Juanita Hummingbird of Dalton; cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 12 at 2 p.m.
