Lois A. Gage McBrayer
BIG SANDY (TX) - Graveside services for Lois A. Gage McBrayer, 83, Big Sandy (TX) are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery under direction of Croley Funeral Home, Gilmer.
Mrs. McBrayer died March 1, 2011. She was born Sept. 4, 1927, to Thomas Jefferson and Eron A. Gage. She was preceded in death by husband, Roy W. McBrayer.
Survivors include son, Johnnie W. McBrayer; daughters, Marie Poole and Peggy Beal; sister, Doris Weatherby; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Graveside services for Mrs. LOIS A. GAGE McBRAYER, 83, of Big Sandy will be held 11:00 A.M, Saturday, March, 5, 2011, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Upshur County, Texas with Bro. David McGee Officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mrs. McBrayer passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 in Gilmer.
She was born September 4, 1927, in Upshur County, Texas to Thomas Jefferson and Eron A. Gage. Mrs. McBrayer was a homemaker and a member of Hollybrook Baptist Church of Holly Lake.
She is survived by her son, Johnnie W. McBrayer of Gilmer; daughters, Marie Poole of Gilmer and Peggy Beal of Big Sandy; sister, Doris Weatherby of Gilmer; 5 grandchildren, Linnet Pichette, B. J. Poole, Jon Paul Poole, G. C. Beal and Amber Beal all of Big Sandy; 9 great grandchildren, Zachary, Linnsi, Annah, Simeon, Timothy and Malachi Pichette, Peyton and Kaitlyn Poole, Patrick Hart; 1 great great grandchild, Ashton Hart.
Mrs. McBrayer was preceded in death by her husband, Roy W. McBrayer; 8 brothers and 5 sisters.
Pallbearers will be B. J. Poole, Jon Paul Poole, G. C. Beal, Zachary Pichette, Simeon Pichette, Peyton Poole, Timothy Pichette, Malachi Pichette, and Patrick Hart.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 4, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
