FORT WORTH - Norma L. Kyle was called home by the Lord on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012.
Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
Norma was born on July 17, 1925, in Kodak, Ky., to James and Ora Coston. Even though she was born in Kentucky, she spent many years in Alabama, then resided here in Texas.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend. She enjoyed fishing, gardening and traveling.
Norma will be remembered for always smiling, laughing, and enjoying life to the fullest with family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all those who loved her and whose lives she has touched. You will be forever loved and in our hearts.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband, C.G. Kyle; son, Buddy Thomas; stepson, Dale Kyle; grandsons, Gary McBrayer Jr. and James Chris Thomas.
Survivors: Sons, Wayne and Carolyn Thomas and Nick Thomas; daughters, Connie and Jay Painter, Carolyn and Mark Tyler, Mona and Gary McBrayer Sr., and Jane and Robert Saenz; stepsons, Doug and Carol Kyle; stepdaughters, Sandra and Paul Harwell and Judy Kyle; sister, Martha Pheiffer; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
