Family Obituaries

Obituaries are a very important tool in family research. They can often provide clues to additional family members, pertinent information to a particular individual or family and many times a background into the life of the person mentioned. I must, therefore, rely on you - in your individual communities and areas - to be aware of any obituaries that might appear in your local newspapers on any family member, whether they be McBrayer, Brier, McBryar, McBrier, etc, and to forward those notices to me for inclusion in the family records and on this website for others to see. Be sure to include the name of the newspaper, date of publication, and any additional information you might be able to provide on the person - to adequately identify the individual. You're on the spot and I'm out here in Oklahoma and I simply can't research all news publications for those notices. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Will you help?
