Oscar Massey Goodin1915 - 2011 Services for OSCAR MASSEY GOODIN will be held Saturday, at 2 p.m., at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel in DeKalb with Revs. James Ruffin and Charles Robbins officiating. Burial will be in the Dry Creek Cemetery in Preston, with Stephens Funeral Home of DeKalb in charge of arrangements. Mr. Goodin, 96, of New Albany, formerly of DeKalb, died Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at Graceland Nursing Home in New Albany. He was retired, having served many years as a hospital maintenance supervisor. Survivors include his granddaughters: Robin Goodin Robbins and her husband Sean of Lebanon, Ohio, and Rhonda Goodin Cook and her husband Terry of Potts Camp; great-grandchildren: Bruce Mapp, John T. Cook, Jade Cook, London Cook and Patrick Drew Robbins; and great-great-grandchildren: True Robbins and Alair Robbins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Addie Goodin; a son, Oscar Bruce Goodin (Shelby); and his wife, Helen McBrayer Goodin.
