Obituary:
Paul McBrayer was born on Oct. 4, 1930 to W.L. (Willie) McBrayer and Lydia McBrayer at Haworth, Okla. He married Celia Calaway on July 26, 1949 at Kilgore, Texas. He has resided in Broken Arrow, Okla. since 1966. Paul was employed by National Pipeline Welding School for 30 years retiring in 1995. He was a member of the Arrow Heights Baptist Church in Broken Arrow and a former member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Idabel. Paul was a member of Pipeliners Local Union #798 and also a member of the Goodwater Masonic Lodge #148.
Paul passed from this life on Mar. 13, 2010 at Tulsa, Okla. at the age of 79 years, 5 months and 9 days. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Virgil McBrayer and a sister, Louise Hunt.
Paul leaves to cherish his memory; his wife, Celia ; 2 Sons; Billy McBrayer of Dumas, Tex. and Randy McBrayer of Broken Arrow, Okla. 1 Grandson; Billy McBrayer Jr. of Okla. City, Ok. 4 Granddaughters; Leah Brumbaugh of Sand Springs, Ok.; Ashley Hunt of Okla. City; Julie Bartlett of Tulsa and Karen Bannon of Broken Arrow, Ok. 9 Great-Grandchildren &1 Great-Great- Grandchild also survive.
