Reba McBrayer Weaver

Chicago, IL – Reba McBrayer Weaver passed away Friday, May 14, 2010 in Chicago, Illinois.  She was born July 26, 1921 in Marshall County, Alabama the daughter of Chester LeRoy and Lillian Montana McBrayer.  She was preceded in death by her husband James Robert, her parents and two sons, Chester J. and John.  Reba was also preceded in death by two brothers, Otis Woodrow and Chester Howard; and three sisters, Bessie Lee McBrayer Miller, Dorothy Nell McBrayer Dennis, and Marjorie Eloise McBrayer Chaffin.  Reba is survived by one daughter, Linda and husband Edward Moore; five sons, Bobby and wife Rickey, Jimmie and wife Roseanne, Gary and wife Diane, Mitchell and Richard and wife Susan.  Reba was a proud grandmother and great-grandmother.  Visitation will be Monday May 17, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, May 18^th at 10:30 a.m.  Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Ashburn Baptist Church, Interment at Evergreen Park Cemetery, Chicago, IL.  Reba  treasured her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew her gentle loving soul.  Sign Guestbook at www.chicagotribune.com/obituaries.
