William Oscar McBrayer1923-2011 WILLIAM OSCAR McBRAYER, of Lake Wylie Retirement and Assisted Living Center, Lake Wylie, S.C., died Friday, Dec. 30, 2011. Mr. McBrayer was born Nov. 17, 1923, in Shelby, N.C., to the late Elisha and Leslie Hord McBrayer. He was the widower of Peggy Byers McBrayer and was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. Graveside inurnment will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2012, at Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery, 1642 Sulphur Springs Road, Shelby, N.C. M. L.
